Cell phones in the street – 01

Nederlands (link)

Sunday Street Day… It’s not hard to find people with cell phones in the streets these days… So I thought of making a selection of cell-phone shots this time… Here are a few of my latest ‘catches’ – made in the Streets of Amsterdam ( and 1 in Utrecht) – the Netherlands…

Do you have street photo’s of people with cell phones too? Leave a link in a comment to this blog post, and I’ll come over to have a look… 🙂

Last summer street shots of the June series

Deze blog post in het Nederlands (link).

Well, summer is really over in Amsterdam. Actually, fall has taken over, and it’s beautiful outside. It’s time to get out there for both great autumn street and nature shots. But I’m still a little house-bound because of loads of organisational work to do, so I have to bind myself to my chair for a few days more.

No problem as for the photo blogging though, since I have a lot of great material left to process from the past months of photo shoots on the streets. So now let’s reminisce on a great summer with these last three street photo’s from the June series 😉 .

Sunday Street Day

It’s a few weeks now that I skipped posting my Sunday Street photo’s, because I had other things to do that had priority. But I don’t want to forget about it all together. So, although it’s Monday night already, here come my Sunday Street shots.

Till now, I picked two different photo’s for my English and Dutch blog, but as of today, I’ll pick two, and post them on both of my blogs. Here they come 🙂

Missed shot … or not?

Oops!! I don’t remember what I was doing… Maybe I was distracted just for a moment. Probably I was just looking in another direction, trying to spot an upcoming event to catch in a street shot… So I didn’t see this coming at all, and only realised that it could make an interesting shot as they were already passing straight in front of me: a whole group of tourists, in a hurry to catch their train, dragging their suitcases on wheels behind them. I still turned and zoomed in, trying to catch them from the back, but… too late! Only the disappearing suitcases on the upper edge of the frame, leaving my disappointed shadow behind them. Still a fun street shot, don’t you think LOL? At least I think it’s comic! Maybe someone can come up with a striking caption? Feel free to give it a try!

Would the older man not hear what the young people behind him are talking? Is he daydreaming or is he secretly eavesdropping? What do you think?
